Zidane is a Real Madrid legend and he couldn’t miss the match where the merengue club could lift their fourteenth title in history.
The French coach retired as a professional player after playing in the 2006 World Cup in Germany and his last team was Real Madrid, a club with which he won six titles.
Moreover, Zidane was in charge as coach of the Merengue team from January 2016 to May 2018 during his first leg and from March 2019 to May 2021 during his second spell. During his tenure as Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane was the first manager in history to win three consecutive European Cups (2016, 2017 and 2018).
